James Verra & Associates, Inc. located in Newington, New Hampshire, has been providing professional surveying services to a diverse range of clients throughout the seacoast area since its establishment in 1990. Our services cater to residential, commercial, industrial, and municipal clients, as well as utility companies and other professionals.
The Land Records Keepers of the Seacoast
Our wealth of experience in the industry is complemented by our extensive record-keeping capabilities. We maintain the complete records and files of John W. Durgin dating back to 1908, as well as the records and files of Durgin-Schofield Associates. Additionally, we have access to the records and plans of Edward M. Smith dating back to 1888. This enables us to provide comprehensive and accurate surveying services to our clients with confidence and expertise.

James Verra
New Hampshire Licensed Land Surveyor (625) and Maine Professional Land Surveyor (1330). Jim started his surveying experience with John W. Durgin Associates in 1980, and was able to purchase the Durgin records from the later Durgin-Schofield Associates in 1990.

John C.(Chris) Salter
New Hampshire Licensed Land Surveyor (924). Chris has worked on projects throughout New Hampshire in his 30 years of experience. Chris has an extreme knowledge of GNNS systems
Staff Surveyor
Glen Demers
Mr. Demers is a New Hampshire Licensed Land Surveyor (998) and with almost four decades of experience in all aspects of land surveying. Glen has worked on survey projects all over the world at multiple military facilities
Survey Technician II - Crew Chief
Brayden Mastin
Brayden has been with JVA since the October 2022 after pursing a Civil Engineering Degree that he is still working on. Brayden has a vast knowledge of CAD programs, and works in the field and the office to help prepare deliverables.

Sebastien provides a great resource for all of our GIS needs and applications. Sebastien also has experience with large wood surveys, and conservation surveys in the central part of New Hampshire.
